How was the Four Quadruple? What'd you think of the fraoch? I liked it the last time I tried it kind of wine-ish. I picked up the steel reserve once myself. Cool bottle/label, High grity lager designation, plus it was cheep= Big Mistake! Man that stuff is truely swill!

Four Quad was wonderful. Am also a BIG fan of the Fraoch--just read an article about gruit beers in this month's BYO, although it doesn't appear that the article is posted to their site yet.

Four Quadruple was good, but not as good as the Allagash Curieux.

Steel Reserve was not as bad you'd think. Still, it's no Ol' E.

Best of the night: Firestone Reserve Porter. Excellent!
